BECOME AN AFFILIATE
The IFA Affiliate Program is designed to provide additional playing opportunities for players that may require it. It allows a club to utilize the IFA Pathway which creates access to the appropriate teams and league play to support their development. The affiliate program is set up to allow clubs the option to move players into an additional developmental platform based on that player’s needs.
All IFA Affiliate clubs will have access to the following:
IFA Boys MLS Next teams (moving players into)
IFA Girls NAL Teams (moving players into)
IFA EDS North and South Programs (moving players into)
IFA Elite Player Program (EPP) (U9-11 additional program, player remains with affiliate club)
Discounted tournament registrations at all IFA Events
Connectivity to all IFA Senior staff, creating additional support to affiliate club and future ventures.
IFA Club relationships that could help the affiliate club.
The IFA Affiliate program is designed to allow the affiliate club a level of control with regard to the pathway of their players. IFA would not recruit players from the affiliate club. The expectation is that players would be pushed to the IFA Program as opposed to any other option when determined the appropriate time by the affiliate club.
The affiliate program is player-centric, and it is controlled by the clubs. The focus is on ensuring that players within the affiliate club have access to additional platforms and competitive environments. This relationship allows affiliate clubs the opportunity to define a pathway for their players. The additional tiers at IFA would be available to all players, and they would only move into them based on a decision and communication from the affiliate club.
